Yahoo! Widgets

We are making a few Yahoo! Widgets. The Yahoo! Widgets (formerly known as Konfabulator) is a JavaScript runtime engine for Windows and Mac OS X that lets you run little files called Widgets that can do pretty much whatever you want them to. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, can tell you your WiFi signal strength, will fetch the latest stock quotes for your preferred symbols, and even give your current local weather. We are currently offering three widgets, Ottawa Traffic Cams, SoundBridge Remote Control, and Beautiful Beaches.  The Ottawa Traffic Cams Widget displays the still images supplied by the Ontario Ministry of Transport (MoT) COMPAS Traffic Cameras web site for Highway 417, along with optional Ottawa weather and gas price information. The SoundBridge Remote Control Widget gives users of the Roku SoundBridge M1000/M1001 network music player control of basic SoundBridge functions from their desktop. Functions include volume control, play/pause and next/previous song selection, power, as well as optional "now playing" and album cover artwork windows. The Beautiful Beaches Widget shows beach and oceanside vistas from around the world. Widget Yahoo!
